The Elder’s Forum is a specific time each month that the Elders make themselves available to the congregation to answer any questions you may have or to pray with you if you have any particular concerns.  They would be happy to meet with you.

Westside’s SonShiners (Senor Adult Ministry) invites you to a luncheon fellowship.  Everyone over the age of 55 is invited.  You don’t need to bring anything … just come enjoy some great fellowship.

Westside’s Motorcycle Ministry (M3) will be having a benefit run on September 25.  Registration will be held at the Lowes parking lot in north Apopka (441) beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Kickstands up at 9:00 a.m. for a ride into Volusia County, Sanford’s Riverwalk, and more.  And of course, you can’t forget about the BBQ lunch!  Registration is $25/bike and all proceeds will benefit the Al Paquette Ministry.  Volunteers are appreciated.  To volunteer or for more information, contact Joe Doty (407-448-4395) or Eric Thompson (407-421-8540).

Our baptism services are held immediately after our second morning service.  Baptism is an important next step for believers so if you have accepted Christ and have not yet been baptized, please make plans as soon as possible.  Please contact the church office if you are interested in taking part in this service.

Signups are currently underway for the Fall Ladies Beach Retreat.  Contact the church office for more information.  The cost is $150/person for two ladies per room or $110/person for four ladies per room.  This cost covers all meals and accommodations.

Westside is renting a pavilion at Kelly Park for a Family Fun Day.  It will be a great day in the sun so come join us … and bring your friends and neighbors.  Admission to the park is $5/car (up to 8 people).  You need to get there early—they will close the gates to the park once they reach capacity (typically around 10:00am).  Be sure to stop and rent your inner tubes before entering the park … there are a couple of vendors just outside the park area that rent tubes.
